Have fun! A couple of weeks ago I saw Hairspray--it was so awesome I had to buy the soundtrack.
Relax. New York is a town to walk & explore, with zillions of great restaurants and diversions.
If you don't get to a place on your list, no worries, you'll find another.
Relax and enjoy NYC.
yes I know!! i've been many times to nyc, but this time is the most planned!!!we are celebrating anniversary and it has been a hard year (in terms of work) so we are both really loooking foward to it!! (it will also be the longest:a week!!!)
Have a wonderful time, and be sure to check back in and tell us all about it!
Have a wonderful time, lucky you!! I, too, saw Hairspray and loved it. AnnMarie, I also bought the soundtrack plus two tee shirts for my dd and me.
It sounds like you have a lot of good plans. I agree with the other posters.. I wouldn't plan anything else.. I'd just see where the days take me. Also.. it's supposed to get very cold on Saturday/Sunday.. in the 40's... so pack appropriately! Have fun!
Here's the Holiday Guide link from NY Magazine http://nymag.com/guides/holidays/index.html
You might want to see a holiday concert or special show. Have fun!
Good walking shoes are a must.
And now that the Christmas tree at Rock Center has been lit, avoid taxis in midtown. Traffic in midtown will be horrible from now until the new year. Choose the subway wherever possible otherwise you'll be wasting precious time sitting in cabs watching people walk by.
Have a wonderful time! You are so enthusiastic it is catching!!!
Can't wait to read your report.
LOL. 40's in NYC is seasonal. Not "Very cold". Very cold is Zero with the bitter wind blowing in your face.

Have a reasonably warm jacket that can block the wind and a scarf. You'll be fine.
Incidentally, it's about 70 degrees today. Very pleasant for almost December!
Have a great time in the big apple!
bring an extra memory card for your camera!
Having lost one camera during a trip (and all of the photos), I now suggest using 2 512 mb cards so that if, unfortunately, you were to lose your camera...you would not lose all of your travel pics.
