Hyatt Fishermans Wharf?

I found a great deal for my family for the Hyatt Fishermans Wharf for Thanksgiving. I was born and lived in San Fran for awhile but I never stayed at this hotel. It seems central to a lot of things we would like to do with our kids ages 3-8. Any comments? I haven't booked yet and the choices are not real great due to the max occupancy thing. This is a last minute trip and not our end all be all vacation for the year, just something to do over Thanksgiving. We don't want to break the bank and it seems like a good deal for $127. What do you think?

Another thought--the Grand Hyatt on Union Square is another good location--saw $119 on hyatt.com.

Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf is fine and would probably bet the best choice with kids. Be aware that the weekend following Thanksgiving is usually a zoo in SF. Make all reservations now and don't rent a car, whatever you do. The kids will love Pier 39 as touristy as it is! Book now!

Well I did try and book it and they wanted a $90 extra person charge. Add that and the cost of parking and I am looking at well over $200 a night, Still not a bad deal for the city but please!!!. I also don't know it they charge the electricity surcharge. So I think we will pass for now.
