How to spent $10,458.76 in 2 weeks in NY ?
Wasn't that a great way to catch your attention ?
Now that you are here, I have only $4500 and I want to make a 3 weeks trip to New york that I would never forget (places, people, women etc.)
Can any one recommend me how to do it ?
Thanks

Oh come on! No need to get nasty. We've all told bad jokes. Anyway, to have a good time in NYC, just mix it up--do some of the tourist sites, and then do some real city life. Some stuff to consider: see 2 broadway shows, a musical and a drama. see an off broadway show as well. take a sight seeing bus and visit all the usual stops (cheaper than a cab & you can be outside for the ride). See the UN, empire state bldg, etc. Spend a day or two in central park (rent a bike, a row boat, whatever). Visit the central park zoo. get a charcoal portrait done. walk into the plaza hotel just to use the bathroom. spend an afternoon visiting wall street & have lunch at the south street seaport (just shops & a small museum, but a great view of the brooklyn bridge). take a ferry to the statue of liberty. I could go on and on, but really, just get a few guide books, new york magazine, and time out. That should do it. Have fun.

on the chance that you're serious - leave half the money at home and you'll still have a wonderful time. You can get cheaper theater tickets at that "Ticket Ticket" place (in Times Square I think, it's been a while for me.) Go to Little Italy. Definetly go out to see the Statue of Liberty, and enjoy the Manhattan skyline from the water. My husband would tell you to have a Sabretts (sp?) hotdog! Enjoy!

Go to a broadway show, but tickets at TKTS in Time Square, be prepared--you may not be sitting together and the seats can still be pricy ($35). Be sure to specify that you want to sit together. The Tony and Tina wedding (SP?) show someone else mentioned is great, I understand the audience is even served wedding cake. I also recommend The Life, CATS, Scarlet Pimpernel, 1776, ART and any TONY awarded show. Go to a show, you will appreciate and understand broadway more than any guide book will explain. If there's any money left, take a Circle Line tour around Manhattan -- Eat at whatever trendy spot you pick - then freebies, early AM: Buy a bagel and coffe and head to Central Park (South) to enjoy, walk through The Plaza, FAO Schwartz Toy Store, Trump Tower, head down 7th (past famous jewelry stores, NBC Studios, Rockefeller Plaza, St. Patricks Catrhedral, Times Square -- ALL Easiliy accessible withing one-days walking within Manhattan, Two Days- More Money, Now we're talking!!!
