How many hours spend at Nasa Houston with 11 and 8 yr olds?
Going to Nasa in Houston with an 8 and 11 year old. How long will we spend there? Are the movies included? What are the best parts? Is there anywhere good to eat there? Thanks.

Depends on how interested they are in space/astronaut stuff. You could make a whole day of it. But 4 hours is probably good. They do have food on-site. So, you can do a few hours, lunch, then finish up.
You will have a great time, no matter how long you spend. Plan what you want to do and if you buy your tickets online, you save some money.

I've got two boys (6 and 8) who are into space stuff, but they get VERY bored on the tram tours. The tours are what takes a long time, unless they have one of their special exhibits going on when you will be there. In the past two years, they've had Star Wars and Star Trek featured. That can take a while! I didn't see anything on their site just now, but you never know.
To answer your question, though, I would say that you can do most stuff outside of the tram tours in 2 hours. This is a smaller space center than the Florida one, if you have ever been there. Everything in Houston is contained in one building unless you hop the trams.

Rather than eating there, I'd go to the Kemah Boardwalk afterwards. Kids love it there - lots of restaurants along the water, and they have carnival type rides.
