How do I find out how much U.S> duty I'll pay on foreign souvenirs?

Jump to last reply

We have been living in Singapore for the last several months and are headed home soon. We are already over the $800 limit if I carry everything we've bought for ourselves and others back with me. We would also like to buy a a piece of furniture here, but are trying to calculate the real cost after shipping and U.S. duties. Can anyone give me any guidance on sources? So far what I've found is either far too general
("you'll pay duty over $800" but no indication of rate) or the entire 2700 page US tarriff schedule for importers. Thanks for your help!
