How about the Venetian?

For those in the know, and having read recent raves here about the Bellagio, how would you rate the Venetian? How large are the rooms? The Monte Carlo has had lots of good recommendations on this site, does it provide better value than the others?

I do not believe it is open yet. Monte Carlo is nice but Bellagio is so much nicer and worth the money. The Rio used to be the best value and is a local favorite but I heard they recently raised their rates. Check out www.lvol.com for some great info. Mirage is such a good location. We go quite a bit to Vegas, feel free to e-mail me.

the Venetian has pushed back the opening to May 2nd, detailed info can be seen at www.venetian.com

Visited the Welcome Center they established in front of the construction. All rooms were suites, with a step down into a large living room, looked very comfortable.

Hi K- The previous authors are right, the Venetian (1st phase) isn't quite open yet but they are taking reservations. Visit
www.e-vegas.net/exchange There are quite a few articles about the Venetian found here as well as Bellagio. While at this site, click on GS Woodlow and read my articles about L.V. and feel free to email me for more info!
