Heard the food here is out of this world. Especially the Bar-B-que. Is it true? Where should I eat?
How about the barbecue in Owensboro?

The barbecue is great. You have to make a stop at Moonlite BBQ Inn. The buffet there gives you a little taste of everything. They also have a great selection of desserts on the buffet.
Enjoy.

The bar-b-que is good in Owensboro, but don't just stop there. If you can travel to Paducah, about 2 hours away, and go to Starn's B-B-Q at the corner of Park Ave. and Joe Clifton Drive. I promise you won't be disappointed. Try to get there before 5 pm or you'll miss out. They tend to close early.
The Paducah BBQ is great. Starnes, Harned, Pork Peddler, Rib Cage, BB Whiskers. Try the BBQ festival in Sep/October it's always great. I enjoy the Moonlight at Owensboro because of the variety of different types of meat. Pork, beef, mutton etc but Paducah is really hard to beat.
I second Moonlite. If you can, go in the afternoon as opposed to the evening. The food on the buffet is the same, but a lot cheaper!
