In June, my family and I will be traveling to Seattle and Victoria for a week. The first 3 days of our trip will be spent attending and helping with my cousin's wedding. However, during the last 4 days of our trip we would like to see the area! We are spending 2 nights in Seattle followed by 1 night in Victoria. We will then return to Seattle for the final night. This night, we are hoping to find a hotel right by, if not in, the SeaTac Airport because our plane will be leaving the next day at 6 in the morning. We already have reservations in downtown Seattle and Victoria, however I am having trouble finding a decent hotel by the airport. Any suggestions?? Also any ideas on the best places to see in both Seattle and Victoria and surrounding areas would be appreciated!! We are up for anything and are not traveling with any kids. Thanks!!

We stayed at a Fairfield Inn at SeaTac that has a shuttle and it was quite acceptable. We did it on the way in as well since we were arriving too late to do anything in Seattle and for another reason as well. Seattle has a huge airport charge for rental cars. By staying at the Fairfield, then taking their shuttle over to the Marriott the next morning to pick up a rental car there, we saved over $150, as I recall, on a 2-wk. rental. Could be cheaper to take a taxi to a hotel near SeaTac to pick up a car, even for a shorter rental period.
The Royal BC Museum in Victoria is great. Wasn't so sure we'd like it that much but we did.
We stayed at the Cedarbrook Lodge last year, really nice hotel, great service, fast and easy shuttle to the airport and most importantly, a really good restaurant. Highly recommend this place over the chains.
I would definitely recommend the Holiday Inn Seatac. It is actually the closest hotel to the airport. Even though it is a super short walk across to the terminal, they offer a free shuttle which is convenient if you have large bags. They also have free wifi, which is surprisingly not included at most other hotels. The rooms are comfortable size and include all of the basic necessities for a 1 night stay. plus there's a restaurant and bar so you can grab dinner and a drink before you head off to bed. Just a tip: if you book early enough you'll get the discounted advanced purchase rate! http://www.holidayinn.com/hotels/us/en/seattle/seaia/hoteldetail
Radisson at the airport is decent. There are no hotels actually IN SeaTac, but the road in front of the airport is literally lines with various chain hotels.
