Would love some input as to what hotel to stay at for the above-referenced game. We are driving down from East Texas. Would like to stay near nice, easily accessible restaurants. (Not a necessity, but a hotel with a nice restaurant and bar would be nice)

There is a Marriott Courtyard right near the stadium. Across the [busy, but cross-able]street, there are some restaurants in a shopping center. From there you can actually walk to stadium.

Thank you DebitNM! I've read some reviews on Tripadvisor and they weren't so great about the Marriott. BUT, if there are some restaurants nearby, that would be great! Thank you!!!!
The Metro light rail runs next to Reliant so you could stay anywhere on that line
