I am choosing between the Marquette, The Graves and The Grand hotels. Which is the nicest? Is one in a better location than the others? We are on vacation, not business, with no special location needs and have never been to Minneapolis. A family with 3 teenagers. Thanks for your help!

This is from an earlier thread by Marie:
With two teenagers? No question - you should stay at the Graves. It's not only the hippest hotel in Mpls (plasma TV's in every room, I think), but it's in the heart of the action. Across the street from Target Center (where the Timberwolves play). There a Hard Rock Cafe and arcade in the same block. And a Borders bookstore for adults to browse in while the kids play. Only a little over a block from the light rail train which will take you to the Mall of America or the Metrodome if you want.
Of course, it's pretty close to most of the downtown bars, too. So you're likely to see some of that action also. Just FYI.
The Grand is a very nice hotel, but a little bit more of your classic 4* and located in the middle of the a bunch of businesses - so that location is pretty dead at night.
