Hotel/Motel near cruise ship dock in Ft. Lauderdale

We are booked on the Princess cruise leaving Ft. Lauderdale on October 7th. Looking for a resonable priced hotel/motel in the dock area with shuttle service to and from the loading dock. Also, would like to leave our car in the motel parking lot during the cruise. If this is not avaiable, do you know of a long-term parking garage, etc. in the area?

Since we are not familiar with the area, we would appreciate any information you can provide.
