hotel walking distance to aquarium

Planning a trip to Baltimore this summer and would like to find a hotel within walking distance of the aquarium. Family friendly and easy on the wallet. Thanks!

There is a well-priced all-suite hotel near it, but I don't know the name. Big help, right?

Hampton Inn isn't too far. It's near Camden Yards, but walkable to the Aquarium.

We really like the Renaissance at the Harbor. A lot of the hotels have specials that might include breakfast so even though that's not a "budget" type of hotel, it might still be worth checking out for specials.

Also, a little further up the street but might be less pricey is the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Baltimore. It's supposed to be one of these "green" hotels and I think has a nice roof-top lounge.

1 thing you may want to do unless you are a Red Sox or Yankees fan is to make sure those 2 teams arent coming to Baltimore as all rates jump when they come to town.

It's the Brookline suites hotel I refer to above. We did not stay there, but seriously considered it.

PeaceOut, I think you might have meant the Brookshire Suites which look great. (410) 625-1300. I just requested a RFP for our reunion September 2012.

Prices for this year start at $134.00.

The Renaissance is the closest to the aquarium, and other hotels nearby in that category include the Marriott Waterfront, Hyatt, and Intercontinental. If those are too pricey, you could consider the Sheraton Inner Harbor. I think that the Fairfield mentioned above is not too long a walk, and should be a pretty nice hotel, too. Other people like the Tremont Hotel / Suites, which is a longer walk, but is pretty reasonable.
