Actually, the Holiday Inn Express near PVD is reasonable priced and is a decent, newer hotel

When I started traveling on business, HI really WAS the answer for virtually all destinations we traveled. Does anyone else remember the very first year they instituted the Priority Club points program? They had no idea of how successful it would be and set the point thresholds way too low. EVERYONE I worked with enjoyed a European vacation that year. Alas, by the time I had acquired enough vacation time, HI adjusted their point/redemption schedule!

Please don't assume everyone knows airport codes!

LOL, gracieb -At first, I thought you were being funny, but then with your second reply, I figured you knew what you were talking about.

Sorry Dan, PVD is Providence, RI, which is really located in the city of Warwick, RI.

phlebo3, when doing your searches on Tripadvisor, expedia, et al, you might want to search for Warwick, RI instead of Providence to weed out the non-airport properties.

I knew but just was being a smarta...never mind. Actually, I enjoyed flying into Providence on Delta points to get to Cape Cod as an alternative to Boston. Some friends have retired to just up the road so I hope to get back up that way soon.
