Hello all! I have always appreciated the advice on this forum and have come back again for some help and advice. Where would you suggest 6 adults all in there late 20's and early 30's stay in Walt Disney World. Two of the adults have never visited. I have always enjoyed the Polynesian, Contemporary, and Floridian being on the monorail and close to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. The rest of the adults have not visited Disney since we were young and are planning on spending 4-5 nights in March. I would love some suggestions on the deluxe hotels. Thanks again!

The BEST pool (if THAT is of interest) is at the Yacht and Beach; it is SO much better they put a wrist band on you so that all those people staying at the other hotels cannot get IN. Great water slide too and the ice cream at Beaches and Cream, well, it's Disney after all.
It is also within walking distance to Epcot and a short boat ride to the Studios. I suspect you and the age group you mention would be more interested in these latter two parks than the Magic Kingdom.
OTOH, the rooms at the Grand Floridian are some of the largest in any of the on-site hotels and being ON the monorail has its advantages.
Thanks for the response Dukey1. Believe it or not we still do love the Magic Kingdom! Considering that two of the adults coming along have never been to the Magic Kingdom, Im sure we will be making a day out of it along with the fireworks. I have stayed at the Polynesian and Contemporary but never the Floridian.
I love the Magic Kingdom, too, but usually not more than one full day.

Thank you! Out of the three hotels: The Contemporary, Floridian, and Polynesian. How would you rate them? I'm thinking staying on the monorail is what we will want to do.
No question whatsoever in MY mind: the Grand Floridian (and I've stayed at all three locations). Why? The rooms are larger; it's closer to the Magic Kingdom, and despite that recent reno at the Polynesian I still think the GF is a nicer place to stay.
It's subjective, I realize, but you asked.
When I say it is "closer" I mean in terms of monorail stops (at least going IN); coming out then if this is THE issue you obviously want the Contemporary.
We have stayed at the Contemporary, Grand Floridian and Boardwalk. They are all nice and I did not notice much difference in room size. We prefer the Boardwalk because of the ease of access to Epcot
Frankly as little as we are in the room, it's not important to us
I would go for the Floridian - larger rooms, good location and choice dining. But them I'm not really a pool person (I can't go in the sun - just too pale - and I always burn).
GF does have a nice pool . .
Thank you all for your suggestions. I think you are tempting me to look into the GF especially since I have never stayed there before. I love the location and feel we will utilize the dining and pool and beach area as well besides the parks. Thanks!!
