I know this isn't much of a travel question, but does anyone know of a really good hospital in the Miami Area?
Thanks!

Good for what. different hospitals have different specialties. And one that is excellent in one area may be mediocre in another.
Also, so much depends on the MD. I would start thre rather than with the hospital. (To find the best MDs in any are ask other MDs who they would see for a particular problem - or who they would send a familt member to. (Most MDs are very competent - but some are brilliant - and a few are distinctly sub par - you need to know who you're seeing.)
Separately - have you googled on-line for this. Every yeara New York magazine published a list of the most well-regarded MDs in every specialty. Is there any publication in Miami that does the same?
Agree with nytravelers advice.
Many Miami hospitals are specific to heart, cancer, etc.
I think Jackson Memorial is considered the best overall and is a teaching hospital. More info here

And if you are living (or loved one is) in the area, you might want a hospital where your primary care provider has admitting privileges.
Ditto to mclaurie, if what you are asking is the name of a nationally known and recognized medical center.
What nytraveler said. There are plenty of good hospitals, but they specialize in different things. Baptist, Mt. Sinai, Jackson Memorial, etc. - gotta know what you want it for first
