Honolulu layovers.... one 30hrs, other 17hrs. Ideas?

Jump to last reply

Hey guys, really appreciated the ideas from this forum on our last trip to the USA. This time we are flying Hawaiian Airlines and arrive into Honolulu around 8am Tuesday and fly out 2pm Wednesday. On our way back we arrive at 1pm and out again 8am next morning. Never been to Hawaii before and hoping for some advice.

First overnight stay was thinking of Hilton Hawaiian Villiage given there is a lot to see/do there and it's at Waikiki Beach. Second layover was thinking of getting a hotel near airport with free transfers (given our first will probably cost $60 in transport to resort).

Would like to get a glimpse of Hawaii. Dinner show would be great, would also like to get to Pearl Harbour but understand it would be a little stretch.

Very interested in your suggestions please.
