honeymoon worthy lodging in St George, UT?

We'll be spending one night in St George, Feb 15th to be exact. Any hotels that are honeymoon worthy? So far all I've seen are Best Westerns and the like. It'd be really nice if we could get a room w/ a fireplace. Thanks!

I just received a newsletter from Utah tourism 10 minutes ago. It had links to lodging and on the list for St George the only resort that was listed was Green Valley Resort & Spa ("the 3rd best spa in the US"). You can check them out.

Hi Bethany,

I live in Utah and go down to Zion Natl Park at least once a year. If I'm not camping, I stay at The Novel House. It's a nice B&B/Inn in Springdale. Very nice rooms, great breakfasts, no pool, no fireplaces.

They have a web site if you want to check it out. It's about 45 minute drive from St. George.

WHY are you planning on spending a honeymoon night in St. George anyway? You could do much better checking for B&Bs on the internet. There are some with fireplaces.

Good luck!

The Desert Pearl in Springdale is very nice. The cabins at Zion lodge which I believe have fire places are rustic but the setting is spectacular.
