Hilton Hawaiian Village

Please offer recommendations for the best tower to stay ( and specific rooms if able) in the Hilton Hawaiian Village. I've read a couple negatives about the Ali'i Tower, so where's the good place(s). I need to make reservations soon. Thanks! OSB.

Rainbow tower is the closest to the beach.

Kalia tower had a mold problem a while back, but it's been cleaned up.

Rainbow Tower has the best views.
The Ali'i Tower isnt bad..it just didnt seem worth it at all. the breakfast you have to pay for, and the private gym is a joke, my husband paid the $12 to use the hotels real gym anyway. the service was nothing extra. there was just no reason for the Ali'i Tower ...it seemed...
people do like the private pool, but we looked at it, it's just a small pool on the roof.. why would you want that when you have the beautiful pacific ocean right beneath you!!!!

I'd chooe Rainbow Tower and book ocean view!

Hi

Partner & I stayed at the HHV in Ali Tower in July this year.

If you can get a deal on the Ali tower it is well worth it, You get access to a seperate pool & Whirlpool, oceanview terrace (great views) access to a mini gym & a seperate check in (great if you are checking in at busy times - we check in late after a very long flight (15 hours) and it took less than 1 min to check in! which was great.

They serve some complemetry snacks at around 4 - 6pm (crab cakes meat balls etc) & people come & sit with a drink & it is nice & social especially if you stay until sunset!

Yes as people have said the pool is not large but it is a nice escape at the end of the day & the main pool gets seriously crowded.
We often went to the beach in the morning then took a break for lunch then when it got seriously hot went back to the room to frehen up & spend the rest of the afternoon around the Ali tower pool (did not have any problem geeting loungers - whereas you could never get a spot by the superpool)

If you get an oceanview room in the Ali tower the view is great.

Rooms:
The Ali tower room I stayed in was v large, seperate dressing area & marble bathroom. Fridge, Coffeemaker (free Hawaiian coffee)Mini bar (did not use - buy own wine etc from onsite ABC store & used fridge)
2 Tv's, a Sitting area with sofa & chairs, outside balcony/patio with chairs to sit out & enjoy the sunset.
Maid service 3 times a day - regular morning service, ice service in afternoon & turndown service with a flower on bed & chocolates.

The Ali tower lobby area was immaculate & there was even a doorman to open the door (should you hands be full of towels & bags on way to/from beach!) V friendly service - overall it was great.

We explored the other towers and were happy we had chose the Ali tower in fact we are considerieng another trip there next year & will stay in the Ali tower again.

You can get Ali tower rooms on expedia.com etc - we really shopped around (we organised our own flights & accommodation seperatly) and so it felt like a real bargain!

If you need more information post again & let me know & I can give you my email address incase you have lots more questions - I know I did as I planned this trip in serious detail!!!
