Highly rated condo complex, Jupiter FL
We are looking to buy a condo in Jupiter Florida. What are the most highly rated condo complexes in Jupiter Florida? Is there a company or website that creates such evaluations?

See the problem with asking a question without enough information?
Some things you will need to look for: taxes, financial health, condition of property, other residents, rental policy, pet policy. There are others, and a good real estate person like Neo suggests doesn't charge any more than a neophyte.

Be VERY aware of a couple of things: the recommendation to review at least 6 months worth of any condo association minutes. The problem with those minutes is they don't often include any problems raised be current residents
The percentage of units which are rentals; the association rental policy.
In terms of finding out who the residents are, where they are from, etc, etc., well good luck with that one.
I suppose I could give you the more or less general rule about property taxes in Florida and that you should expect to pay around 2% of the purchase price per year in property taxes. It could be more or less.
The fact that you are asking specifically about Jupiter is telling IMO and I'll leave it at that.
I agree that having a reputable agent down here is worth every penny you'll pay in commissions.

I think that may be a little misleading as a buyer doesn't really pay ANYTHING to an agent in commissions. Those are paid by the seller, and if it is a new complex bought from the developer, all kinds of incentives are usually offered, but most developers will still pay a commission to your agent, so long as you've registered that agent at your first viewing. Some buyer's agents may even put you in contact with a for sale by owner and negotiate a commission from the seller direct -- still costing the buyer nothing.
Another trick I learned some time ago is to visit the property and check out the owner's bulletin board if there is one. We did that once and saw notice of an upcoming meeting regarding "the termite issue" and the "pending assessment for major termite repairs".

Where I live, buyers never pay the commission whether a place is new or old. now I guess one could debate on the selling places takes that into account in their price, but the buyer doesn't directly pay it.

Well, I don't know the OP was looking at a new complex either, but as Christina says, it makes no difference -- old or new -- the BUYER doesn't pay any commissions, the seller does.
