Help with itinerary in Maui!

We are planning to be in Maui between
25th Dec and 28th Dec.
Can anyone please suggest an itinerary for these 4 days?

Thanks in advance!

Can you give more info on where you are staying, and what your interests are?

We will be staying on an oceanfront condo in Kahana (Hoolalani).
We don't like snorkelling or any other water sports as we don't know to swim! I am thinking of these
2 activities

1. Sunrise/sunset in Haleakala
2. Atlantis submarine

Can you suggest anything else?

Thanks!

Road to Hana one day

Haleakala 1/2 day

Stroll Lahaina 1/2 day

Iao Valley about 2 hours

Maui Ocean Center 3-4 hours. You can do this at the same time as Iao Valley. They are fairly close to each other. Maui Tropical Plantation is also nearby.

Whale watching tour

Beach time

Snorkeling - Noting that you can't swim, stop by one of the snorkel rental places like Boss Frogs or Snorkel Bob's. They can give you info where to snorkel in shallow water where you don't need to swim.

Lots of info. Ignore the Oahu info & look through the sites that are for all islands & just for Maui.

Definitely Haleakala. For me it doesn't have to be at sunrise, just any time of the morning.

I also liked the self-guided historic walking tour in the town of Lahaina (but not a must on such a short trip).

The Old Lahaina Luau and a show called U'Lalena at Myth & Magic Theater (both Lahaina) were my other favorites.

Thanks, Dusty54638 - very informative response.
Do you know how far is Haleakala from Kahana (Hoolalani)?

Drive times Maui:

You will probably have to copy & paste this link because of the ~

http://www.mauigateway.com/~rw/driving.html

For Haleakala & Road to Hana from Lahaina/Kaanapali you have to go right past the Kahului Airport.

So add the times together.

Kaanapali to airport 50 minutes
Airport to Haleakala 1 hour 45 minutes.

Total 2 hours 35 minutes.

Kahana is about 5 minutes north of Kaanapali. So add another 5 minutes.

You will have to go south through Lahaina on Highway 30 to get to the airport.
