Help with booking Hawaiian excursions online for fiance's birthday

Hi!
My fiance and I are honeymooning on Oahu (2 nights), Big Island (4 nights) and Maui (7 nights) in August.
His birthday is next week, and I was thinking that it would be a fun present to book an excursion online for one of his gifts. Some of the things I was thinking was: a helicopter tour to see the lava on the BI, a snorkeling trip on the BI to Kaleaukula (sp.) Bay, a snorkeling trip on Maui, etc...Which of these would you recommend and where could I book them online? Thanks!

You can book almost anything online for a 10% discount at tombarefoot.com (Tom Barefoot Cashback Tours). We have been very pleased with their service in the past.

For snorkeling on Maui, go with Paragon or Trilogy, and take the Lanai cruise rather than Molokini. These are the only 2 companies with landing rights at Lanai, and the extra privacy, luxury and such makes it a gorgeous and fun day. As far as I can tell, there aren't any companies as professional on the BI, and Maui has the advantage of having Molokini and Lanai there as additional "destinations" for snorkeling. We loved our day on the snorkeling trip between Maui and Lanai. We did Paragon, but I've heard good things about Trilogy, too. I also highly recommend, as a second choice, a helicopter tour. We did one on Kauai and loved it!

I agree with mauikayaks. Great kayaking and snorkeling trip in one. They serve you lunch. The guides are amazing.

Another post has revealed that the Aquarium/Fishpool kayak trips in Maui have been suspended in an effort to further protect the fragile environment, therefore the dolphin/turtletown trip is no longer available.....I have no experience with other trips provided by any kayak company....good luck and happy trails!

There are still kayak trips that originate from Makena Bay, Makena Landing and Kihei. Turtle Town is actually offshore near the Makena Prince and is not part of the Ahihi-Kinau reserve. It is only the commercial ventures taking place within the reserve that have been stopped. There are still plenty kayak trips on Maui.
