Help, Radio City Christmas & Rockettes Tickets

In NY this weekend, have done my best on web with-out success (ticketmaster a joke) for tickets. Any suggestions on where to look, can you purchase at box office prior to show??. do people sell on street?? My past experience has shown some tickets are held until showmtime before release but not exp in NY. Any info appreciated. Thanks Alex

We were in NY a couple of weeks ago and pre-purchased Radio City show tickets on www.radiocity.com

Then picked them up at the box office an hour before the show.

Check with the Radio City box office when you get here. Not all performances are sold out. Also sometmes tour groups buy up blocks of tickets that they don't always fill and so they are returned to the box office for sale.

We were in your shoes two years ago. We just walked around the block by the theatre about an hour before the show and someone eventually asked if we wanted to buy tickets. All he did was go over to the people in line and ask if anyone wanted to sell their extra tickets, paid for them, and brought them back to us and resold them. You could do it yourself but I think it's actually illegal so depending on how brave you are. The value on the ticket was $100 which is what we paid him. We later found out that the original owners sold them for $50.

Thank you for your suggestions and information. We went to NYC this past weekend. On Friday went to Radio City box office (arrived at 12:45) and purchased 4 tickets, 14th row ctr.sect. orch. with easy (for the 1:00 show) many tickets all prices available for afternoon show. It was GREAT.
