HELP!! Need ideas for a day and a half in Cincinnati vicinity in early May

Family and friends are meeting in Cincinnati the Thursday before the Kentucky Derby (first weekend in May). We will have Thursday afternoon and all day Friday to tour the vicinity. We will have a car. There will be 5 of us ranging in age from 30 to 60. (Last fall we went on the Bourbon Trail in Kentucky and had a great time, but we don't want to repeat those sites on this trip.) One person in our group likes micro brew, so if anyone has a suggestion for that it would be great. Also, if there is an Amish community nearby, one of the persons would be interested in visiting that. The main thing is I want to develop a tentative itinerary so that we don't waste time wondering what to do and backtracking. We want fun, as this is the 30th bday for one in our group.

I know every state has unique and special places and events. I would very much appreciate your suggestions.
