Help! last 2 days in Alaska?
Any suggestions on where to spend our last 2 days between Denali back to Anchorage? We are spending 2 days/nocs in Denali, I think 1 noc in Talkeetna for a glacier landing flight and the last day driving back to Anchorage and staying there or any much better ideas? We have a car , so driving isn't a problem Thanks so much!

Sorry for the missed details! We end the cruise on Sat., shuttle to Anchorage and drive to Denali for 2 days(Sat, Sun) I thought we'd stay in Talkeetna for 1 noc for a flightseeing/glacier landing. My ? is do we then drive back to Anchorage on the Tues and stay overnight and fly out Wed or is it better to do the glacier landing during the cruise and spend the last 2 days south of Anchorage, or am I just splitting hairs; it doesn't really matter? Thanks

Have alternatives for your glacier landing day. We had scheduled a glacier landing out of Talkeetna our second day in Alaska when driving from Anchorage to Denali. But it was too cloudy. So we rescheduled for 4 days later when we'd be driving down to Seward--of course it was too cloudy.

I would include Seward. My opinion only, it's a gem of a location with fantastic touring opportunities.
Last time for me, I had my Talkeetna flight rescheduled 4 times and never did make it.
Overall, again my opinion only, the Talkeetna glacier landing ski planes are a big distant second to any glacier helicopter landings. The Ski planes are on all snow, and you may not have any access, or a long way away to ice. The helicopters are right next to ice and again, only my opinion, the reason to land.
