HELP! I need a restaurant for Christmas dinner!

Does anyone know of a good restaurant that will be serving on Christmas Day? My folks are coming in to town and I can't find a restaurant for dinner. They think that I've already made reservations........ Can anyone out there help me? Price isn't really an issue as long as the food is good..... Suggestions please! Thanks.

Hotel restaurants might be your best bet. I've heard that Shula's 347, near LAX, is good and open Xmas day.

I personally would drive up to Marina del Rey and dine at jer-ne, at the Ritz-Carlton MdR. Very nice hotel eatery.

Then again-- what will your final destination be? There might be a good choice closer to that place.

Final destination will be La Canada Flintridge just north of Glendale in the Foothills. My parents don't need anything fancy, just a good family Christmas dinner...... thanks.

I'm not familiar with the La Cañada-Flintridge area-- but you're not too far from Pasadena. I'd look for places there (the Ritz-Carlton Huntington?), or in Glendale itself.

You might want to look at an online reservation site like www.opentable.com-- or post this question on www.chowhound.com's LA board, which is exceptionally active.

I also read that the restaurants aboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach is serving Xmas Dinner. It's not on your way from LAX to your final destination, but could be fun for novelty value.
