Help from Boston experts, ASAP please!

Hi!, just booked this Sunday night at the Westin Copley Plaza, 2 adults and 2 kids. We want to go to the Scence Museum on Monday. Could you please tell me the easiest way to get to the museum from the hotel? Or should we take the car out of Copley's garage, drive to the museum and park it there since we will be leaving Boston immediately after our museum visit. Thanks for your help!

If you weren/t leaving town from the museum, taking the "T" would be the cheapest, easiest route. However to go over and back, check out of a hotel, store bags, I'd say drive over. There is a parking garage right at the museum. An from there there is "relatively" (for Boston) easy access to I-93 N or S or to the Mass Pike W (via I-93 S).
Get directions from the bell captain/concierge at Copley. Basically you get over to Starrow Dr in bound and exit at Leveritt Circle directly to the Museum.
Wait until the "rush hour" has eased out (after 9am) and leave the Museum before the pm rush hour (4pm).
Enjoy. It's a wonderful experience. When you get tickets, get tix for the apropriate shows you want to see (IMax, Planatarium). You may get discounts with AAA or other Museum memberships. Check with the concierge at the Copley.
For a fun dinner near Copley, go to Fire and Ice.

Here's a second on the above instructions. You could take the Green Line from Copley to Science Musuem but I would drive if you're heading home after the musuem. Parking at the musuem is not cheap by the way.

Thanks for the tips. Thanks too for the restaurant suggestion. I looked at the museum's website and parking looked like it would be about $ 10.00. Not bad compared to the $ 30.00 you would pay near the Met in NY!

you didn't say how old the kids are, but if they're walkers, it's a beautiful stroll along the charles river to get there. There is a restaurant there.
