HELP - I am going to a Convention and I need child care for my kids at night and during the day

I am going to a convention in March and I need to put my kids in a kids club or with a babysitter for a few hours during the day and for one evening. I need help. Has anyone used a reputable babysitting service? Have your kids stayed at a Kid's club?

I need to clarify: I will be in Orlando at a WDW resort property.

I know nothing about this, but I typed in Disney World Child Care in my browser and this came up:

http://www.affordabledisney.com/wdwchildcare.html

That is probably a good place to start.
Good luck!

Can you bring a sitter with you? You would probably feel a lot better about having someone you know than a complete stranger. I know that hotels have some requirements (bonded, CPR Certification, etc. Also, the babysitting service can be expensive.

The cost of additional airfare, meals, park entry and additional person in the room are by and large much more than we would end up paying for a sitter for a few hours a couple of times. We had considered this option but realized it would be too much.

Trust me, I am not comfortable leaving my kids with strangers, hence why I was looking for a 'kid's club' solution. They do not offer this during the day (I need care in the morning only).

I posted t his on your other post, but here it is again. We used Fairy Godmothers when we were at Disney (stayed on property at the time). The owner is Gertrude. I highly recommend this service. I don't have the number handy, but you can find it at www.wdwinfo.com or www.wdwig.com. We had a wonderful woman named Vera who I would not hesitate to use again. It is a pricey service - $12/hr plus an hour of travel time - but well worth it.
