From what I'm reading, September is hurricane season in the Caribbean. Where will weather be the best for my husband and I to vacay in September or October? Looking at Belize/Costa Rica, Fiji/Bora Bora, or Hawaii.
Want beautiful beaches with adventurous activity options.

Belize and Costa Rica will be affected by hurricane season. I don't know about Fiji or Bora Bora, but I've been to HI twice in the month of September and both times the weather has been good. There will be some rain at most any time of year in HI but it usually doesn't last long and it will be sunny again once the showers pass.
We are going to HI again this September, and here's an added bonus to Sept/Oct travel to HI. These tend to be the slowest months of the year for tourism. That has nothing to do with weather, it's because school has started so family vacations are over. Additionally it's not cold yet in the northern US/Canada so the people who want to escape the cold are not there yet. IMO Sept/Oct is a perfect time of year for a visit to HI.
We've been to Maui at the end of September and Kauai in early October. We had very good weather both times - in fact, the weather in Maui that September was spectacular. Kauai last year was just a little bit cooler, but that meant very high 70s instead of mid-80s, so still great, and a little bit greyer (more sprinkles, but no lasting rainfall). Agree with P_M that it's a great time to go (didn't mean we didn't have to wait for a table at Kountry Kitchen though!)
It's a great time of year for Hawaii, I usually go to Kauai that time of year and it is not very busy, kids back in school, etc. although some smaller children will be there.
That time of year is very rainy in Costa Rica, in fact some lodges in the Osa close for the month of October. Sorry cannot help with Fiji.
Same answer I said on the other thread. Hawaii is wonderful. It's rainy season in central america.
Great time of year for Hawaii: After the summer rush and before the snowbirds arrive.
Love Costa Rica - but you can get some weather then.
Been to kauai in both months. No problem. Beach activities for me is just plain swimming, and relaxing....can't help you with exciting activities. snorkeling is good on kauai and BI. which island were you thinking about.
Last time in Hawaii for me was mid September to Oct 4th. Beautiful weather the entire time. Trying to think if we ever saw rain that trip. Remember that if it rains, it is still warm and usually the rain doesn't last long.
Kauai is without question the most beautiful of all the islands....can't speak to Lanai or Molokai, but the others...in my humble opinion.
