Have you done an aquarium sleepover?

I'm looking for a special treat for my grandson (10 yrs old). Do any of you have any experience with Aquarium sleepovers? Anywhere in US. Please share your experiences, even if you didn't do it but a niece or grandchild did it.

I haven't done an Aquarium sleep over but have done them at zoos (three times) - they are great fun. (And I didn't have any kids to take). My guess is that most zoos/aquaria do them as fund raisers or regular events. Just don't expect to sleep a lll that much.

I haven't done it, but I have friends and family who have done it with their kids. Everyone has said how much fun it was, but as Janisj says, don't expect to get much sleep.

Here's a link to an article about some aquariums and zoos that offer this, but an Internet search should pick up even more options. I think any 10-year-old would LOVE this!

We have them here in Albuquerque. I know -- the last place you'd think of for an aquarium! We even have adult only ones! We are actually in contention for top 10 in US!

When our daughter was about 6 or 7, DH did a sleep over with her at the zoo. You pitched a tent and listened to the various animals all night. Not much sleep; too much excitement. She loved it!

Anywhere in the country? Forget the aquarium and send him on the sleepover at Alcatraz.
