Have Hotel/Air Prices Been Sharply Discounted?

We have been asked to resume our normal routines and, yes, that includes vacation travel. In light of recent events and the souring economy, has anyone noticed steep discounts in Hawaiian vacation travel? Am trying to consider the possibility of a late November trip, as difficult as that may presently seem.

We haven't noticed a drop in prices yet but you can bet they are sure to come very soon. There are practically NO tourists here now. You'll have the place to yourself! Aloha.

Aloha Stan,
yes, I agree with Mike, look for discounts soon. I'm sure you'll be able to get a good deal. Look for ads by some of the major tour wholesalers like Classic Hawaii or Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays. They may be offering some good air/hotel packages. Aloha!

Yes, the specials started rolling in this week. Good for travel to 12/15/01, so this would apply to you. PS-travel agents could sure use your business. If you find one that is not helpful/knowledgeable--call another one!

We got an incredible deal......3 bedroom, 2 bath condo on the beach in Napili, for $699 for the week, and are sharing the expense with another couple. Airfare from Detroit, connec\ting in LA, was $429!!! This deal however was only good for Dec. 2001. Aloha!

Hi Claudia,

Did you book through an agent or on line? If on-line, who was it through?
