The Hastings is very dorm like. Used to house corporate meetings for Aetna. Would not recommend it. NOt too many pickings near UHart. Might try the Hilto downtown as I hear they renovated. Most opulent would be the Goodwin across the street from the Civic Center. Make sure you go to Black-eyed Sally's for some blues and cajun food.
thanks - stayed at Goodwin last time & was not impressed - got a great price online and they were really snotty because of it! room wasn't that great either! I'll check out hilton...
