Harbor Court.....Baltimore........
Can anyone offer any suggestions for a great hotel in Baltimore. I read some reviews about HC on Trip Advisor that were not promising. I want a very nice hotel near the Inner Harbor. Thanks.

Go on Priceline.com and bid for a 4**** for the Inner Harbor. I got the Marriott Waterfront for a little over $100 a night. Great hotel.
There are lots of "free bids" for the Baltimore area, if you are familiar with priceline and the bidding process.

After spending several days at the Baltimore Waterfront (nice hotel)for a work meeting we wanted to spend a few days at a less "conventiony" place and decided to stay at Henderson's Wharf Inn which is right on the wharf but not in the main thick of things around the inner harbor. We loved it because it was close but not too close. We found the shopping/main inner harbor area to be a bit chaotic and really enjoyed the nice quiet street leading up to Hendersons. Great service and we preferred vastly over the Marriott in terms of location and relaxation.
Check out the tripadvisor reports for more details.

There is a Marriott Renasance which I do not think is the same as the Harbour Court. Your best bets are Hyatt...just completed 12 million dollar renovations...we stayed there a week ago and loved it. The Marriot on the waterfront, Harbour Court, and Renasance are the other choices.

The Marriott Waterfront is a wonderful hotel! My husband tries to stay there whenever he goes to Baltimore on business. The Renaissance is also very nice.
The one downside to the Waterfront Marriott is that it is a somewhat long walk to some of the Inner Harbor attractions but there is a water taxi that is fairly reasonable. However, you would be close to Fells Point and the Powerplant attractions.

How far is Henderson's Wharf Inn from the Inner Harbor. Do you need to take a boat across the harbor to get to Camden Yards. I'm including a baseball game in my trip next spring. Thanks.

The Henderson's Wharf Inn is in Fells Point. You will have to take a cab to get to Camden Yards, although you could take a water taxi. If it's a night game, I'm not sure what the water taxi's schedule is for the return trip.
