Halloween nightshow at Universal Orlando? Is it worth the $?

We were thinking of going on 10/14 during a short stay in Orlando. I would like to find out what the key attractions/haunted houses not to miss things. Also, would like to know if it is worth the $ because it seems as if other posters have recommended highly the fast pass which adds substantially alot more to the ticketprice. Would love to hear anyone's advice. Thanks in advance!

I was actually looking for more information. This is the reason why I posted it a second time. Wyatt, have you been to the halloween show at Universal?

Thanks. It is amazing how hard it is to find information regarding this halloween event. Disney & Universal does a very good job at keeping all of this away from you so you basically go and find out for yourself and spend $$$$$$$..

noelle, I went to this (halloween horror nights) a couple of years ago and vowed never, never, never to go again. It was so crowded that it was almost laughable. There was a minimum of 3 hour waits at every haunted house (no fast passes available). We got disgusted and left. On the way went to guest relations to see if we could get our money back and there was a huge line of people doing the same thing. We got to the desk and they were not giving refunds but they did give us regular universal tickets to use any time. They just let in waaay to many people.

Thankyou. I was looking for candid reviews. I certaintly do not want to waste any time or $ during my short stay in Orlando. It is too bad, it looked like fun.

NO! It is so not worth the money. I am amazed that people will do this every year, the lines are monstrous! I agree, over 3 hours for 1 house, and with multiple haunted houses, you will be here ALL NIGHT.

I was just told by a coworked (who has never gone but read somewhere) there is an express pass offered for $36 extra per ticket. But, I am confused because I just read on the UStudios website that on Sunday nights, the wait time is averages about 15 minutes per Haunted house without the expresspass...

I have been 3 times, with my teenagers, there has never been a 15 minute wait that I have seen. Seriously, if you go, wear comfortable shoes!

Sunday night will be better than Friday or Saturday night, but I seriously doubt 15 minute wait times. It would probably be more like 2 hour wait instead of a 3 hour wait.

So, I wonder what the wait times would be like with the fastpass?
