Gulf Shores Plantation - anyone been recently?

This property is a possibility for my family's vacation next May. While the photos on their website look really nice, I have been reading some not-so-great reviews about the property's condition. However, the postings were from mid-2009 and before. I'm curious if any of the problems (broken down pools and spas, broken boardwalk, etc) have been fixed? Thank you!!!
