GTG in Los Angeles March 17 or 18
Hello, All,
I will be in Los Angeles on business, and one evening is free for dinner with friends. As soon as I know the exact date and location, I will post. For now it’s either Tuesday, March 17 or Wednesday, March 18, in downtown LA in the area of Pershing square.

Sounds like fun. March 17th is out, though, and you will NOT want to schedule anything that evening in downtown LA in any event. It is St. Patrick's Day and it's a bloody nightmare downtown due to the annual Casey's bar festivities. Streets are cordoned off and it's impossible to get around.

Close to Pershing Square (a few steps away) is Perch, a restaurant/bar atop one of the buildings. On the expensive side, but great food and cocktails, reservations a must.
Down below the Pershing Square building is a new underground bar, called Mrs. Fish, that was created by the owners of Perch. It's pretty big, but then has only a bar menu.
