Ground transportation from Ft. Pierce to either PBI or FLL?
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to inexpensively get from Ft. Pierce waterfront area to either West Palm Beach airport or Ft. Lauderdale if you cannot rent a car due to being under 25? Thanks! (My daughter is trying to get to either airport to get home and is 22.)

Greyhound Bus Lines has routes from Fort Pierce to both Fort Lauderdale and West Palm, and the fares seem reasonable. They are both a straight highway shot south (I-95 or Turnpike) so I think the buses are pretty direct.
If it is around the end of March or the end of April, she can maybe see if any snowbirds are making that trek to go home - there will be plenty.
We have a condo there - beautiful, peaceful beaches.

Thanks for your reply. She ended up taking the Greyhound today from Ft. Pierce to PBI but it cost her $25 taxi fare to get to the station-$17 to get to PBI and then another $15 on cab meter from Greyhound to PBI which I think was ridiculous!

Have you tried taking Smart Shuttle Line? It has routes from Ft. Pierce and from Port Saint Lucie to the PBI Airport and to the Tri Rail in West Palm Beach. Very fast, very convenient, and really cheap too. Check out the Web site at www.smartshuttleline.com
