green fees in scottsdale/phoenix area under $100 in December

Looking for a golf course with fees under a $100 per person, for a beginner and intermediate golfer. If the course happens to have a golf pro at the facility...perfect.

Finding cheap green fees is very hard in PHX. The Desert Course is GREAT. Nice course, but for all ranges. It's part of the TPC but for us common folks. Green fees are usually $40 in season. You can go to azcentral.com and search by price under golf courses.

I'm going to Tucson/Phoenix myself this December and found that the municipal courses are cheap. I also hear that tee times are hard to come by. Try Papago, Encanto Park, Cave Creek, Aguila or 500 Club.
