I don't really know if it's GREAT zydeco or not, but the place that immediately comes to mind is the Cajun Cabin on Bourbon Street. They always have a zydeco band - and they make GREAT bloody marys.
hey...let the good times roll...anyhwere in NOLA is good zydeco. try the www.nolalive.com site...we saw a great zydeco band at Tipitina's new location in the FQ...they have a website w/ coming attractions...we saw Buckwheat Zydeco at the House of Blues. check out their web at www.hob.com...Have fun..It's one of our favorite cities.
