Great Wolf Lodge Poconos
I did a search for this but didn't get any results on it
Has anyone been to the Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos, Pennsylvania?
What did you think of it?
What type of room did you have and would you stay in the same room type again or go for a different one?
Thanks

We were just at the Great Wolf Lodge.
Bring your bathing suits, and your patience. Long line to check in, restaurants/cafe were unstaffed. But the only rudeness I saw was from the hotel guests complaining about the lack of service.
My kids loved the water park, but it is very difficult to keep an eye on kids b/c it is big and the areas flow into one another. We ran into friends from my kids school and she had the same opinion as me - we'd rather be elsewhere. She said she was flipping out b/c she lost her youngest son for an hour. (But when her husband told the story, he said it was only 15 mins...lol...I'm sure the story would be told the same way in my family!)
We got the cheapest room, which was just a bit larger than the average hotel room. We were only there one night, so it was fine.
I would not stay there more than one night. I could not deal with the water park several days in a row, and IMO there's not that much to do in the Poconos. Plus the food in the GWL is not great.
