I'm wondering if anyone took a toddler to The Great Wolf Lodge. Is this park geared for older children only? Our toddler is 14 months old.
Also, if anyone could give me any input on Castaway Bay in Sandusky Ohio, that would be great as well.
Thanks again.

We had our 9 month old daughter at the GWL this Spring along with our three year old.
They have a kiddie pool there that starts at zero depth where the babies can sit and splash, but beyond that, I don't think he/she'd be too impressed. They have a few animitronic animals in the lobby and the restaurant that may be worth a coo, but the real fun is for the 3+ crowd.
If you're going your toddler's sake, I'd probably recommend that you reconsider and find somewhere else in TC that is more interesting for adults....unless of course you are an adult like me who enjoys riding the slides and getting soaked. Your baby will just be happy to be with you no matter where you end up.
You should check out tripadvisor.com regarding Castaway Bay. Quite a few negative comments. While I haven't stayed at the GWL, I think it's probably a much better choice, especially for the adults. There is so much more to do in Traverse City. The toddler will be happy anywhere.
Just my two cents, of course.
Of the two resorts, which would be better for young teens? Or possibly for all adults who want a childlike, fun getaway?
What time of the year are you going? There will be tons for the teens to do in Sandusky at Cedar Point and, if the park is open they have a water park outside that the teens LOVE
Hi, we have only been to GWL and I would say do GWL only though because of the great area it is in and there is lots to do in T. City. The rooms are very nice too, depends on the time of year you are planning on too. The littlest one won't think much of it, but for 3+ it is fantastic!!
