Well, I know it's not New York or San Francisco, but can someone give me some names are great places to eat. We are going for a family event and I may be pushing the envelope, but thanks for the help.

Check out Cincinnati's classic Montgomery Inn. Best ribs in the Midwest! There are 2 locations: Montgomery and at the Boathouse downtown on the river (recommend this location). http://www.montgomeryinn.com/
For French cuisine, check out Jean Robert's: http://jrtable.com/
Bella Luna is a fun atmosphere for Italian: http://www.bellalunacincy.com/home
For Mexican, check out Nada: http://www.eatdrinknada.com/main.html
Have a great trip in Cincy!
What part of town? Downtown Cincinnati has Jeff Ruby's The Precinct Steakhouse, very nice but pricey.
Make sure you try Graeter's ice cream!

Will enthusiastically second Graeter's Ice Cream.
A local favorite unique to the area is Cincinnati chili. It's unusual in having things like sweet spices (cinnamon, allspice) and chocolate in the recipe -- but it's delicious. You can get it in a bowl, but most people eat it as a two-way (chili over spaghetti), three-way (add a mound of shredded cheese), four-way (add minced onions), or five-way (add kidney beans). Also include in the order a couple chili-cheese-onion coneys (small hot dogs in buns topped with mustard, chili, shredded cheese, and minced onion). The favorite chain of choice for many is Skyline Chili, though Gold Star Chili also does a very good version -- you'll find several outlets located throughout the city. Two single-location chili parlors of note (haven't tried either) are Blue Ash Chili and Camp Washington Chili, both located in the northern suburbs of the city.
