The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra will be having its “Rusty Musicians” concert on February 2nd and 4th. These concerts integrate community musicians into the BSO where we have an opportunity to play side by side with the pros – a real thrill. Each night will have four performances, at 6, 7, 8, and 9pm and will be held at Strathmore Hall in Rockville, MD. The program is Nimrod from Elgar’s Enigma Variations and the Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op 36-IV, Finale – Allegro con Fuoco. DD has been assigned the first Bassoon part and I have been assigned the third Horn part. Like most professional orchestras, the BSO has taken a big financial hit in these times and needs all the support it can get.

Pray that I DON'T screw up (I have confidence in DD).
