I don't know if you are set on FS, but we stayed next door at Kea Lani and loved it. The price is comparable but you get a full suite at Kea Lani w/separate living room & bedroom which is nice.
I just topped a recent thread that had some discussion about rates at the FS Wailea.

We found $395 for a mountainview room, car, and breakfast for the FS Maui . Hope we get upgraded to a better view! It's $425 in 2005 (when we're actually going)
Good luck. Garden view is $480 with breakfast but no car in 2005. Ain't cheap!

PS - sorry, that was just by calling the 4 seasons directly!
