My husband and I are going to Hocking Hills on Saturday. We would like to find a local place that has good burgers and milkshakes. {No chain restaurants} We appreciate any ideas or information. Could you also recommend any flea markets or antique stores in that area? Thank You !

I can't think of any good burger joints w/out venturing into Logan but there are a couple of good restaurants near the park(s). The Inn at Cedar Falls is probably the best & the Grouse Nest a close 2nd. The Grouse Nest also often has live music on the weekends during dinner. Rempel's has good ice cream + there is a Dairy Queen in Logan as well. This may help - www.1800hocking.com Canoeing is also a fun activity & there are signs for the Hocking Valley Canoe Livery (not sure of the name) most everywhere. Where are you coming from ? Can't help w/the antiquing but if you are coming from Columbus (down 33) I seem to recall many interesting establishments along that route. You may have better luck in that area, in & around Lancaster.
