Can someone direct me to a good local pizza joint that 15 folks from all over the U.S. might enjoy this Friday night? We're gathering in Farmington Hills and would appreciate some suggestions!
Good Pizza in Farmington Hills/Novi area of the Detroit Metro area?

You can't go wrong with Buddy's Pizza -- http://www.buddyspizza.com/locations.html
Couldn't agree more. Quintessential Detroit style pizza. Perfect experience pizza-wise for out of towners. Did you know "Detroit style" pizza is cooked in a "blue-steel pan" which is actually not even a true pan? It was made to hold parts in factories. Someone (I believe it was Buddy's owner) happened upon the "pan" and thought it might be a good pizza pan. Viola! He was right. Oh, and you also need a dough for thick but airy crust, lots of cheese and ladles of rich, long-simmered sauce. Then you have a Detroit pizza. Yummm!
Shields is also a good sit down style place to get it and Jets Pizza is a good delivery option. I prefer Lona's in Dearborn Heights but you won't be anywhere near there.
...or DeLuca's in D.Heights
My family used to get DeLuca's once a week, but incredibly I have never had their pizza. Good to know! I LOVE their ravioli and spaghetti....so darn good.
Where did you end up going RandyK? What did you think of wherever you ended up?
