Good eats needed for the North Carolina area ...
Hello There,
My family and I are headed to the North Carolina area for vacation this year, specifically to:
- Beaufort
- Wllmington
- and the Kitty Hawk area
Any sugestions for breakfast, lunch and or dinner that aren't too expensive but good as well.
Thanks ...

How old are family members? An EXCELLENT inexpensive lunch or dinner just outside Kitty Hawk is actually at a brew pub. 100% organic, grass fed beef, etc. The house made sausages are to die for. The quality of beers are all amazingly good. A worthy spot even if not everyone likes beer - the food goes just as well with tea or soda. Figure $10/person plus tea/beer/soda.

Just walk around Beaufort and see what you want. Finz maybe OK but I think there are better places. On the Beaufort waterfront, walk south/west towared Morehead City and there is a nice restaurant there about 150 feet past the Boat Museum. Clawsons is OK. I forget the name of the place on the waterfront but it is a bar with outdoor eating right on the boardwalk. Pub food. There is a nicer coffeeshop on a perpendicular street near the boat museum across from the seafood restaurant "The Net something"
Best bet is to just look around.
