We will be in Appleton April 18-25 and would like to play a few rounds of golf while we are there.
Can you suggest a course or two? We usually always play at Reid and would like another suggestion.
Thanks

Hi There,
I live in Appleton and there are so many better courses than Reid. i think you would love High Cliff, just a few miles outside town. Irish Waters is nice and if you want more challening, a new one opened called Creeks of Ellington-Long and narrow. If you don't mind driving to Green Bay(25 miles) our most favorite course is Thornberry Creek. Beautiful course and clubhouse.Second choice would be High Cliff though. Feel free to E-mail me and I would be happy to set up a reservation for you. We are big golfers. What brings you to Appleton? Sandy@meyer-usa.com-Good Luck
Hope the weather improves!! The forcast for the next few days is not very nice (30's). Light freezing rain today.
Sandy....
I emailed you twice and the second one came back as undeliverable. I hope you received the first one...???
Just talked to Larry and he thought that Thornberry might be a bit to far, but was very interested in your second choice of High Cliff.
He had a friend when he was growing up whose grandparents owned a farm out that way and they used to ride their bikes from Appleton!!!! That's along way from what I understand.
Anyway, thanks again for your earlier reply and I hope to hear from you.
Toni
Here's the first email in case you didn't get it...
Hi there and thanks so much for your Fodors reply.
My husband is from Appleton and his Mom's 80 birthday is April 20th. We are coming from L.A. to celebrate with her.
We played another course last year down south about a 35 minutes south...could that have been High Cliff? (looked back and discovered it was a course called Sherwood Forest)
We like to play Reid only because Larry grew up across the street from the course and it brings back memories.
Thornberry Creek sounds like it might be a good choice....
Can you play during the week? Come play with us,
Toni & Larry
