going from Cincinnati to Cedar Point

Hi all,
We are visiting the out-laws in Cincinnati in a few weeks and are going to spend a couple of days riding the coasters at Cedar Point. We thought about stopping for a day at Indian Lake to go water skiing etc. on our way up. Any recommendations on where we could stay around the Indian Lake area? I can only find campground sites and we need a hotel. Thanks!

I don't have a good answer about Indian Lake, but have you looked at Buckeye Lake to stop off instead? There are quite a few hotels around that area and it might be a little less out of the way than Indian Lake.

If I'm not mistaken, Buckeye Lake is east of Columbus. We are driving up from Cincinnati.

Of course, I guess we could take 71 up by way of Columbus, instead of 75. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check it out.

You may also want to check out Grand Lake St. Marys, near Celina.
