go! airlines for Hawaiian interisland travel

Has anyone flown with these guys inter island? The Hawaiian Air Flights have jumped up in price and these flights are cheaper.

I am also still trying to book all my hotels. On Maui I can get the Hyatt or a lot less than the Fairmont or GW. Almost 200 a night. Should I go for it?? We are traveling with kids - under 8 years old. We will be there for 5 nights.

Thanks!

Here's a link about the different carriers and some peoples feelings concerning this airline.

We have not flown on Go but I believe they use the smaller commuter jets.

We've flown them and they are okay for the short flights between islands. Their planes are indeed small 48 passenger commuter jets. In Honolulu you will have to go to the commuter terminal instead of the inter-island terminal to board, which is a slight inconvience.

Their low fares are tempting, but I wouldn't fly them again, as the fare war they started claimed Aloha Airlines as a casuality. They were a favorite airline of mine and one that I have flown for over 35 years.

Sorry about the bum link I was able to bump the thread up and it is pretty much what iamq stated.
A few people went into a little more detail about Mesa Airlines business practices and the lawsuits filed by both Hawaiian and Aloha.
