Glacier National Park Lodging

Jump to last reply

For a visit next summer.

I'm thinking that for the eastern part of the park I'd like to stay at either St Mary Lodge or Rising Sun.

I'd like easy access to Many Glacier, St Mary Lake and Going-to-the-Sun Road. Also, if I decide to spend a day at Waterton Lakes I'd like to be able to do that as well.

St Mary is closer to the more northern destinations but Rising Sun is right in the park and provides better access to GTTS Rd.

Any comments on the choices?

Also, am I trying to get too much out of one lodging?

Thanks.
